First, last Friday was May the 4th, or as my wife calls it, "you're allowed to be a Star Wars Geek" day. I went to a 501st event with the Denver ComicCon crew, and did free Star Wars sketches for kiddos for about three hours. Peopple actually waited almost two hours for a sketch! it was awesome to have that kind of support in my new town.
Second, my kcikstarter projects are moving along nicely! one is completely funded ( but could always use more if we are to go for a hardcover version of the sketchbook) and the other is at about 40 % if I recall correctly, One of my blog readers supported, and my thanks go out to them.
With any luck, suppport will continue to roll in, and my art projects can be funded. Some prayer never hurts, so I will had that in the mix too!
Expect me to update the page with the Ninja Turtle art by me and Bukshot this week. As soon as Lizz can color it, I will put her colors up as well.

alright! the con two weeks ago was surprisingly awesome- not usually a fan of smaller hotel shows, but the Denver crowd is great and SUPER supportive.

Getting ready for a con-weekend
Ok, so I am back in toa con-swing of things... kind of.
I am doing the small, yet supposedly fun show called Comicfest, part fo the Starfest family of shows, this coming weekend.
I will have all kinds of original art, sketch cards, prints, etc. I am doing a sketch card panal on Saturday, and a live drawcast on Sunday both at noon Mountain time.
I will provide more info when I have it, and of course, I will do my bset to take pics of my art from the show so that I can crop it properly and put it up on the blog.
Ah, the blog. how wonderfully cliche, yet completely underappreciated by me.
OH!!!!!! I am also doing the First annual Denver COmic Con father's day weekend. By bestest comic mates Bukshot and DNasty will be coming to Bronco Country to draw with me for the weekend. ANNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDD, Buk and I will be putting out a limited edition Street Fighter print for the show. I will aiming to have Lizz color it- cuz she rocks, coz'!

I really suck... and I mean it.
ok...way too long.
almost 9 months away. I m neck deep in PhD stuff, I moved again ( still in Colorado,) and i have too many art jobs to handle. Ok, the last one sounds great- trust me it is NOT. Quality pays the price when there is not enough time to dedicate.
So I got a new scanner, and with technology being what it is now, I have no excuse not to add regular updates. So I Will try- can someone email me or something- once a month and yell at me to post?
Also, remind me to get a hold of Lizz- I need her masterful coloring on something...
